I’ve installed on WP 3.2.1 and cannot find links that are submitted. I’ve checked WPLinkDir settings, and there isn’t anything under pending, and I’ve check the DB, and there’s nothing there. Any assistance is appreciated.

Yes, you are correct and it was a misstake by us where we forgot to change a setting. It’s now corrected and the wrong function.php is replaced by the new correct one in the download.

It seems to work as expected now. Thanks for the prompt update!

How can I disable the static function?
and are the files uploaded to wordpress.org updated?

I have just installed this, but I can’t seem to find any links after they have been submitted (similar to what Phil had above?)

I’m on WordPress 3.2.1 with WPLinkDir 1.3.2
My directory is here: http://j.mp/orxnlu

I don;t get any error message or anything, I just hit submit (either from front or back-end) and the page just refreshes with no link added.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

Hello,

I have exactly the same problem. Where can I find the corrected files offered for phil? I download the plugin from the wordpress.org site and from this site but the problem is still there …
Phil, if you pressed by Gustavo there before can you tell us the changes to the file function.php

Thank you in advance

PS: sorry for my English with google translate;-)

I have the same issue like Amit. The second problem ist, if I add a link in the admin panel I can not edit this link. If I klick on the link in the admin panel I get the error: You have no access to this page.??

Nice plugin, but it could use some more documentation.

I found out that when adding a link, all fields are mandatory or the link will not show up.

The plugin doesn’t work with standard permalinks, but you have to create custom links to make it work. (%postname%.html)

The plugin creates a new page which you can view in your WP menu bar “All pages”

To view the page in frontend, just create a new menu item for this page.

Also the plugin creates a new user, WPLinkDir
That’s probably why links/pages can’t be deleted/modified.

Sure is a plugin with potential, but could use some improvements.

Hi,
I have found some bugs and some solutions.
—No links in admin panel after submit link in front page.
**Solutions: You can only use the button “ADD LINK” to submit a link, not the text link!
If you can not see the button, then you have a wrong URL – link. (the folder wp-content/plugins/WPLinkDir must be exact “WPLinkDir” and not “wplinkdir”! If you change the folder name to the right “WPLinkDir” you have to reinstall the plugin.

—New problem:
The users can only add one link, because the WPLinkDir is creating automatically a WordPress User with the submitted URL. And now you can only have 1 User for 1 Email address. So it is not possible to add more then one link with the same user.
